St. Joseph’s Church First Annual Chester Carnival – Jul. 23-26

image001For the first time ever, St. Joseph’s Church in Chester, CT is going to convert their parking lot into a four-day carnival!

Starting at 4:00pm on Wednesday, July 23rd, the rides will start turning, kids will start screaming, and the Midway will be filled with game booths.  And it’s not a carnival unless you have food booths selling hotdogs, hamburgers, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy and more!  Locally baked goods and treats will top off a wonderful day with your friends, family and children. Another wonderful time in Chester!

Rain or Shine

This is New England where the weather can change with a snap of your fingers.  If it rains, bring your rain jacket or step inside and play a few cards of BINGO or rummage through the multi-multi family rummage sale!

Wrist bands are $25 for all you can ride (Amusements provided by CT-based, Imperial Shows), including the Ferris Wheel; individual tickets are $2.00 per ride.

Bingo, Rummage Sale and More…

Friday and Saturday from 6pm-9pm, the Knights of Columbus will be calling Bingo in the Church hall.   There will also be tables and tables of just what you need at the church-wide RUMMAGE sale.  Come early and enjoy the fun.  There will also be local folks selling handmade craft items of incredible beauty and function.  Come and explore—you might find a surprise gift for someone special or perhaps a used tool that you always wanted.  The fun is in the exploring!

Wednesday, July 23 – 4pm to 10pm
Thursday, July 24 – 4pm to 10pm
Friday, July 25 – 4pm to 10pm
Saturday, July 26 – 2pm to 9pm

Come on out!  Bring the friends and family – it’s the perfect opportunity for kids of all ages to have fun in the sun and in the rain. So plan on it! See you there!
